AUX/HEG UPGRADE (710-002)
You do not need to purchase a new 2E module to run HEG if you presently own a BrainMaster. Now you can immediately add the AUX upgrade to your existing or new device. Provides the ability to read in an auxiliary (AUX) channel of data and display them as feedback signals. Existing 2E modules can be fitted with the option for acquir-ing AUX data through a hardware modification performed at the BrainMaster facility. Units upgraded in this way will have additional connections installed in the equipment, and will also have modification to the software code that runs inside the mod-ule. With this upgrade, the 2.0 or 2.5 software will be able to recognize the AUX option, and read data from the auxiliary device. Users will need to acquire the HEG (Hemoencephalography) from BioComp Institute who is the manufacturer of the HEG hardware and responsible for instrumentation and all aspects of its use, service and interpretation. BrainMaster 2E modules being upgraded must have been upgraded with Super Input amplifiers or have serial number 1600 and above. Call for informa-tion. Investigational and research use only. Master Module 2E EEG systems to boast a minimum input impedance of 1000 Gig ohms, and
common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 120dB. Until now only the high-est cost medical EEG

SUPERAMP “LINEAR” UPDATE (710-005)
This update is applicable to BrainMaster 2E Modules with Serial Numbers between 1200
and 3050, or earlier units that have previously had “Superamp” upgrade. These units currently
have an input impedance of 10 GOhms and CMRR of 100 dB minimums.The “Linear” update
increases input impedance to 1000 GOhms, and CMRR to 120 dB minimum. Thus, input noise
and interference is reduced overall by a factor of more than 1000. This updates the modules to the
best, most recent specifications for these input characteristics and provides optimal performance
for clean EEG signals and ease of use. Note: These specs are now provided with the latest Super
Input ampli-fier upgrade (710-001). Contact BrainMaster Technologies for a Return Goods Authorization

2E WIDEBAND UPGRADE
Users may upgrade existing 2 E Modules, (Serial Number 1200 and above). 2E WIDE-BAND
modules consist of 2 high quality EEG amplifiers. Input impedance: 1000 GOhms; sampling
accuracy: 0.4 microvolts; operating bandwidth: 0.5-64.0 Hz and is intended to be sampled at a
rate of 256 samples per second or faster; CMRR: 120 dB minimum; interface to PC: optically
isolated, serial or optional USB available; batter-ies: internal, rechargeable, optional external 9 volt
