Atlantis Technical Information - Sensory Immersion Stimulation, Triamp

All Atlantis devices have built-in "autonomous" sensory immersion outputs.  These provide visual, auditory, and vibrotactile output.

The autonomous mode currently has no protocols or  threshold settings.
It uses a completely new concept, one of sensory  immersion using phase-sensitive feedback.  The EEG waveform  signal is encoded into photic, auditory, and vibrotactile information  and fed directly back to the trainee using proprietary algorithms.   In the future, 3.0 software will allow it to do  protocol-based stimulation.  The stimulation is currently not modifiable, although we may soon provide gain or  offset adjustments to the feedback.

Yes, the "Triamp" is true DC coupled.  Using  a 24-bit converter, we can convert the range from +/- 200 millivolts,  with a resolution of less than 0.01 microvolts.  We reconstruct the  "AC" signal and send it back to the PC.  In the future, with the 3.0  software, you will have simultaneous EEG and slow cortical potential  measurements
