Error Messages on Start Up - 2E/2EW Units

This is when you are in the training screen and click GO

1. Module is Dead, Cable is Disconnected, or COM Port is Wrong or keyboard/mouse is on that port
   1. Dialog Box with:
      1. No response on COM Port
      2. Check Module
      3. Turn module on and off
      4. Check cable
      5. Check COM Port number and status
   2. Followed by:
      1. Unable to Proceed
2. Modem on that COM Port not BrainMaster Unit
   1. Dialog box with:
      1. Only 1 Char seen
      2. COM Port may be assigned to your internal modem
      3. Check COM Port Number
   2. Followed by:
      1. Unable to proceed
3. Old Version of Firmware and Module has Not Been Updated
   1. Dialog Box with:
      1. Serial Number is zero
   2. Followed by:
      1. Firmware Error
      2. Firmware Version is: 11
      3. Should be version 12
   3. Followed by:
      1. Unable to proceed
4. Firmware is Correct but Serial is not Programmed
   1. Dialog box with:
      1. Serial number is zero
   2. Followed by
      1. Unable to Proceed
5. Module is OK but is the Wrong Serial Number
   1. Dialog Box with:
      1. SN Returned _________
      2. Does not match: ______
   2. Followed by
      1. Unable to Proceed
6. Port Cannot Be Opened for Any Reason
   1. Dialog Box with:
      1. Error opening COM Port
      2. Check COM Port number and settings
   2. Followed by
      1. Unable to Proceed
7. Port is Incorrect but Can be opened
   1. Dialog Box with:
      1. Error - Unable to sync
      2. Is module connected?
      3. Check cable
      4. Check COM Port
      5. Turn module off and on
   2. Followed by
      1. Unable to Proceed
8. Enough Minutes are not Authorized
   1. Dialog Box with:
      1. Unable to Proceed
