The following brain maps are shown to illustrate some important concepts.  Looking at the brain maps, the reader is asked to estimate which of the following characteristics, symptoms, or disorders are considered most likely, from the list below, or in your own terms.  These are all eyes-closed EEG 's processed with NeuroGuide using the age-appropriate database.  These individuals do share some common characteristics, which the reader should try to determine, based on the EEG data.  The relevant questions are: what do these maps share as common characteristics?  What might these imply in terms of brain function and self-regulation?  How could these maps be produced by the brain?  What are the EEG waves likely to look like?

anxious / depressed / stable mood / unstable mood / attention problems / good with attention / language problems / hyperactive / relaxed / able to concentrate / difficulty concentrating / talkative / quiet / aggressive / reserved / obstructive / cooperative / creative / motivated / unmotivated / lethargic / happy / sad / moody / schizophrenic / mentally gifted / mentally deficient / autistic / asperger's

What are other questions or other data that would be helpful in making this determination?
