If your screen says "Checking Module   Please Wait a Moment...", and never does anything after this, these are steps you need to take to resolve this issue:

-Make sure the Atlantis is plugged into the Computer:  If the BrainMaster Device is not plugged into the system, the software will never communicate with the device.  Please make sure that the unit is plugged in, and is being by Windows in the Device Manager before continuing.

-Make sure that the software is going to the proper COM Port:  In order for proper communication, the BrainMaster software has to be going to the proper COM that the BrainMaster device has been assigned.  You will be able to see what COM port the BrainMaster is assigned to in the Device Manager*.  After you know what COM the BrainMaster Device has been assigned to, make sure that the BrainMaster software is gathering from.  From the Setup/Home Screen, if you click "View or Change Settings" then "Data Channels", it will be under "COM Port Select".  Make sure that this number matches what COM Port Windows has assigned to the BrainMaster Device.

-Un-install/Re-install the BrainMaster Hardware Drivers:  If you are still having communication errors, un-install the drivers from Windows, unplug the device, and go through the installation process again.

-Contact BrainMaster Technical Support:  If you are still having communication errors, contact BrainMaster Technical Support at 440-232-6000 ext. 211 for further assistance.

*The BrainMaster Device, cannot be assigned to COM 1 or COM 2 unless it is being used on a Serial Port.
