Setup Home Screen Shows Wrong Number for Next Session

If your setup/home screen shows the wrong number for the next session you may want to change the number in the cur_sess file.  First try to determine how this happened.  Was the folder re-created with the same name, or was the number of sessions changed to 0 at some time, resetting the study count?

To fix the session number first exit the BrainMaster software, then edit the following file:

The path is: c:\brainm.20\studies\<studyid>\cur_sess where <studyid> is the name of the study folder.  Use "My Computer" and browse to Local Disk C: / brainm.20 / studies  and look for the study name, double-click on it, and then find cur_sess, right-click on cur_sess, and select "open" and then select "Notepad" as the program to open the tile.

Open cur_sess in Notepad and change the number to however many sessions you have run, NOT the number of the next session, then save the file.

Re-start the BrainMaster software, and the next session number will now be 1 plus the number of sessions that you entered
