StimFlash is an external hardware capability that provides EEG -driven photic stimulation .

Here is the manual for StimFlash EEG - controlled photic stimulation software.  This device uses the PC sound port to control an Audio-Strobe compatible device.  These include the Nova Pro 100, PR-2X, Inner Pulse, and similar devices.  It functions the same as the related MIDI-Flash product, but uses the sound port instead of a MIDI port.

It has replaced the now obsolete MIDI-Flash.
