When your Atlantis is plugged into your computer and no input cable is plugged in the lights on the front of the unit should flash red.  When an input cable is plugged into the front of the unit and there is a good connection to the skin, the lights around that input connection should flash green.  If they do not flash green, you do not have a good connection.

Try this:

  1. Reconnect the input cable to the front of the unit
  2. Check your ground
  3. If the lights flash orange or red, your impedance is not good.  Check the electrode connections to the trainee.

To force the lights to go green, try plugging in your sensors to the cable, but do not put them on the trainee.  Instead, touch all the sensors together to make a "short" between all the sensors.  Then the lights should all go green.

If you mix sensor materials, e.g. tin sensors with gold earclips, then the lights may stay red even if the signals are good.

If you are still experiencing issues contact BrainMaster, 440-232-6000, and obtain an RGA# to send you unit back in for repairs.
