The BrainMaster is cleared for use in clinical neurofeedback.  When sold for this purpose, federal law restricts its use by or on the order of a licensed practitioner.

However, even if you are not a clinician, there are many options available to  you.

There are many active practitioners who are able to set up a plan for home training, under their supervision. This will allow you or your family to have regular neurotherapy in a very cost-effective manner, under professional guidance. You can obtain a list of licensed practitioners in your area on the BrainMaster’s Affiliate Listings page, or by visiting the BCIA, the AAPB, SNR, EEG Spectrum or by asking your physician for a biofeedback clinician of choice.

In addition, many practitioners are able to work with people who do not have a clinical need, but wish to use neurofeedback  as a means toward improvement and fulfillment. Clients may include athletes,  artists, CEO's, parents, military, businesspeople, meditators, or even those interested in spiritual growth.

A variety of options are available for individuals who wish to use neurofeedback for personal improvement, mental fitness, or peak-performance  purposes. We can refer you to qualified individuals who can help develop a  program of neurofeedback that is appropriate for your goals.
