Cassandra Johnson-Landry is a licensed child and
adolescent therapist currently practicing in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Mrs. Johnson-Landry moved to Atlanta in 1998 from Houston, Texas. She received her Bachelors of Psychology from the University of
Houston and later obtained her Masters in Counseling and Guidance. Mrs. Johnson-Landry has a vested interest regarding African Americans and Mental Health Treatment. She is nationally
known for facilitating African American outreach throughout the United States in addition to creating the Project Hope replication guide which is currently being used to begin
outreach programs throughout Georgia. Mrs. Johnson-Landry is trained and experienced also working with children and adolescents who have Reactive Attachment Disorders.
She completed her training through the State of Georgia in collaboration with Children Unlimited, which is located in Columbia, South Carolina. She is skilled in the area of
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Neurofeedback, Holding Therapy, Theraplay, Play therapy and other therapies to include Cognitive and Holistic
Therapies. Her background also includes working with the adult and dual diagnosis (Substance abuse/Mental and Mental Retardation/Mental) populations. Mrs. Johnson
-Landry’s future aspirations include a residential/treatment facility to further serve children and adolescents with Reactive Attachment Disorders. Mrs. Johnson-Landry is
very humble and patient, crediting her abilities and talents to God. Her strong spiritual belief is shared with many. According to Mrs. Johnson-Landry Healing must be
completed today in order to raise a healthy tomorrow.
