Hello, I am Rosemary and I would like to offer you a non-drug treatment approach on your
journey toward wellness. Over the past 30 years I have practiced in the fields of Nursing, Stress Management, Speech Therapy, Psychotherapy, Respiration (“proper breathing”),
Biofeedback, and Massage. I have taught college Speech and Biology classes, given International presentations or “proper breathing” , taught breathing to mountain climbers
who have scaled the highest mountains, and to the Biofeedback Association. I have had a successful herb farm and have traveled worldwide to study herbs. I believe my eclectic
background allows me a perspective of openness to alternative ideas, as well as a well-rounded and caring approach to healing. I began practicing Biofeedback in the Mount
Vernon, Washington area in 1981. In January of 1997 I added Neurofeedback to my practice. Neurofeedback trains the brain to improve its timing, its organization and function. The
results have been truly amazing and relatively quick. I now believe all other “paths” are significant but more externally oriented. EEG biofeedback approaches dis-ease from the
perspective of re-organizing the brain from the “central switchboard”. We believe we are exercising the brain in a profound and precise way and thereby allowing it to get out of a
“stuck place”. My own background in working with high-risk cardiac patients, teaching “proper breathing” Internationally, training super athletes and mountain climbers, learning
about herbs, doing body work, counseling, and growing up in a third world country (Indonesia) has all culminated in my current Neurofeedback/Stress Management practice.
In teaching some basic skills of successful stress management, my approach is to give my clients a sense of control over their lives. I want my clients to be in charge and not a
patient, patiently waiting for someone else to fix them. Following a brief stress management program, Neurotherapy is introduced and initiated. Please feel free to e-mail or call for further information.
